Acum ceva timp, aduceam aici un alt top realizat după o anchetă BBC și anume ”Top 100 cele mai bune filme ale secolului 21”, top care a stârnit ceva impresii și l-a determinat pe noul nostru coleg, Tudor, să scrie ”pe scurt” despre câteva dintre cele văzute, ca urmare a apariției acestui clasament (Recenziile le puteți citi aici). Ulterior, am descoperit pe un alt site o anchetă asemănătoare din 2015, realizată tot de către BBC Culture, dar de data aceasta doar despre filmele americane. Hitchcock și Spielberg au amândoi 5 filme în acest top, anii ’70 au cele mai multe filme, iar după 2000 nu apar decât 6 (dar suntem abia la început, nu?).
Cu excepția celor mai avizați critici de film, majoritatea dintre noi, cinefilii obișnuiți, văd cu preponderență filme americane. Motivele sunt nenumărate: cinematografele aduc foarte multe filme americane; Oscarurile, concentrate, la fel, pe filmele proprii; promovarea de la Hollywood este foarte mare și are ecou în rândul privitorilor. Despre filmele din acest top se spune că sunt cele mai bune, așa că nu ar strica să le vedem (multe dintre ele sunt deja văzute, desigur).
